Jabil Announces Quarterly Dividend

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – August 2, 2006 –- Jabil Circuit, Inc. (NYSE: JBL), a global electronic product solutions company, today announced that its Board of Directors has approved payment of a quarterly dividend to common stockholders. The dividend of $0.07 per share is payable on September 1, 2006 to shareholders of record on August 15, 2006.
The Board of Directors authorized the dividend based on management's confidence in the strength of the Company's long-term cash flow generation and its continued commitment to working capital discipline. While the Company intends to continue to pay regular quarterly dividends, the declaration and payment of future dividends are discretionary and will be subject to determination by the Board of Directors each quarter following its review of the Company's financial performance.About Jabil
